Building Trust Through Trauma-Informed Care

Educator ▪ Advocate ▪ Writer ▪ Survivor

What Is The Trust Project?

The TRUST Project is a mission-driven initiative working to transform how we understand and respond to trauma. Rooted in lived experience and grounded in evidence-based practice, it bridges the gap between survivor perspectives, clinical care, and community response—fostering connection, compassion, and meaningful change.

🍃 Our Core Belief

Trauma isn't just psychological—it's a health issue.

It reshapes the brain, disrupts the nervous system, and increases risk for chronic illness. When providers and organizations understand this, they can create spaces where healing truly begins.

🍃 Why This Matters

Every day, survivors navigate systems that can unintentionally re-traumatize them. We train professionals to recognize this and respond with care rooted in safety and trust.

🍃 The Result

Healthcare that heals rather than harms.

Communities that meet survivors with understanding.

Systems that lead with compassion.

Our Mission Is Simple:

To build trauma-informed communities one person at a time.

🌱 Plant the seeds of healing.

Just as nature teaches us to adapt and grow through adversity, trauma-informed care offers a path toward healing for individuals, organizations, and the communities they serve. The TRUST Project is here to help you create safer, more compassionate spaces where resilience can flourish.

Let’s grow trauma-informed systems together.
